Après avoir subi des remaniements de personnel suite à son Why You Are OK de 2016, la formation indie rock américaine Band of Horses revient en 2022 avec Things Are Great, sixième opus studio en date. Initialement produit par Jason Lytle (Grandaddy), l'album, finalement repris en main par Ben Bridwell (tête pensante du groupe) et Wolfgang Zimmerman, propose une collection de dix nouvelles compositions voyant Bridwell puiser son inspiration dans ses relations et expériences personnelles et renoue avec l'émotion et l'intensité de ses premières productions, s'inscrivant naturellement dans le sillage de son Infinite Arms de 2010. Défendu par les singles "In Need of Repair", "Lights" et un "Crutch" aux parfums évocateurs de The Cure, l'album bénéficie d'un accueil critique chaleureux tout en marquant une nouvelle mue pour le groupe avec le départ de Ian MacDougall (à la guitare depuis 2017) au profit de Brett Nash.
