BLVK JVCK

Florida-based electronic music project Blvk Jvck is the solo venture of Jermaine "Mayne Zayne" Jackson. After years crafting singles for high-profile hip-hop and R&B artists as one part of the production team the Runners, Blvk Jvck pivoted to dance music with early singles "Mind Games" and "Mine Luv." In 2000, childhood friends Jackson and Andrew "Dru Brett" Harr formed the Runners, an Orlando-based hip-hop production team heading Trac-N-Field Entertainment. Over a decade, the Timbaland- and Neptunes-influenced producers wrote hits for acts like DJ Khaled, Rihanna, Beyoncé, Justin Bieber, John Legend, Ludacris, Rick Ross, T.I., Lil Wayne, and Usher. In 2017, they took a step away from R&B and rap and ventured into dance music as Blvk Jvck. Following a remix of Bruno Mars' "That's What I Like," they issued their debut single, "Mind Games," with London-based vocalist Dyo of NEIKED. Their second single for Big Beat Records was "Mine Luv" with H.E.R. By 2019, Jackson was the sole creative force behind Blvk Jvck, releasing the singles "Hittin Eerbody" with Titus and "Cash Cow" with NGHTMRE. He also recruited rappers Gunna for "Drip King" and Tay Money for 2020's "Lucky."
