Bam Marley

Jamaican rapper Bam Marley bridges the gap between his reggae roots, pop, and rap, flipping between genres in his own music and while collaborating with others. Born Daniel Bambaata Marley, he is the eldest son of Ziggy Marley and the eldest grandson of Bob Marley. He first surfaced as an artist in 2009 with his debut single "Live It Inna Fear," which was produced by his uncle, Damien Marley. His first official collaborations were with his cousin Jo Mersa Marley on "My Girl" in 2010 and his father, Ziggy Marley, on "Changes" in 2011. With a handful of single releases, he also collaborated with the Internet on their 2015 single "Get Away." He made his debut as an actor in 2017, when he appeared in the film Vagabonds, which starred Danny Glover. A number of singles were released in the following years, including "Deadbeat," "In a Ray," "Pretty Butterfly," and "UFO," followed by the arrival of a mini-album, M.E.S.A., Pt. 1, in 2020.
