이지훈

After entertaining as a member of "self-producing" South Korean boy group Seventeen for seven years, as well as writing for various K-pop artists, Lee Ji-hoon (Korean: 이지훈; born on November 22, 1996 in Busan, South Korea), unveiled his new solo venture, Woozi, in 2022. Having studied classical music, the singer, dancer, rapper, songwriter, and producer had learned to play the clarinet and other band instruments at a young age. He joined South Korean entertainment company Pledis and starred in a fly-on-the-wall show about Seventeen, called Seventeen TV. As the group's primary songwriter, he released three albums with Seventeen. In 2016, he began branching out and writing for other artists, including Korean-American singer and songwriter Ailee and US all-rounder Eric Nam. In 2019, he became a full member of the Korea Music Copyright Association and in October that year released "Miracle" for the soundtrack to South Korean TV drama series The Tale of Nokdu. Often collaborating with singer, composer, and music producer Bumzu, in 2021, Woozi's production work was recognized at the 6th Asia Artist Awards where he became the youngest recipient of the Best Producer award. In January 2022, Woozi stepped out with his first solo mixtape, Ruby, released via Pledis Entertainment.
