Ashland Craft

Pairing Southern grit and a rock-driven country sound, Ashland Craft has parlayed a Top Ten finish on Season 13 of The Voice into her own career as an artist. After moving to Nashville in 2018, the South Carolina native issued a series of independent singles, eventually earning a contract with Big Loud Records, which released her debut album, Travelin' Kind, in 2021. Craft reverted to indie status in 2023 with a string of new singles. Back home in Anderson, South Carolina, Craft sang lead in the house band of a local bar called Wendells Dippin Branch, building a loyal following with her powerful vocals and fun-loving attitude. A 2017 blind audition for NBC's talent contest The Voice netted her a spot on the show and she subsequently rose to the Top Ten before being voted off. Using her newfound exposure as a springboard, Craft headed to Nashville and applied her rugged voice to songs like 2019's "They Always Do" and the brassy "Good Ol' Girls" while seeking a label deal. Music City imprint Big Loud Records took a chance on her and released 2020's "Trainwreck," followed a year later by Craft's full-length debut, Travelin' Kind. Craft went independent in 2023, self-releasing a series of four singles over the course of the year: "Danced with the Devil," "What Color Is Happy," "Night Owl," and "Hooker."
