Voyant le jour dans le sillon du triomphe rencontré par son Jefe de 2021 sacré triple disque de platine et de sa mixtape M.I.L.S 3.0 de 2020 sacrée disque de diamant, NI, publié en 2023, constitue le quatrième opus officiel du rappeur français Ninho. Voyant par ailleurs le jour alors que le très populaire MC inaugure son premier restaurant de burgers à Paris, l'album voit ce dernier continuer de creuser son sillon tout en élargissant ses horizons via une poignée de collaborations internationales, que ce soit avec l'Américain Lil Baby ("True Story"), le Nigérian Omah Lay ("Bad") ou la Nigérianne Ayra Starr ("No Love") et s'empare à son tour de la première place des charts hexagonaux avec l'aide du single "Eurostar" en compagnie du rappeur britannique Central Cee. Dans la foulée, NI bénéficie d'une réédition baptisée NI (Extension) amendée de cinq nouveaux titres.
