Trippie Redd's fifth full-length, MANSION MUSIK, was executive produced by Chief Keef, who makes two appearances on the lengthy, guest-stuffed project. Continuing in the direction of the rage subgenre that sprung up following the release of "Miss the Rage," Trippie's 2021 track with Playboi Carti, the album sports some of the rapper's hardest material to date, favoring blown-out trap beats and futuristic synths over the more atmospheric textures of his earlier work. The album was reportedly rush-released due to hackers threatening to leak the album unless he paid them a million dollars; the album wasn't fully mixed yet, making it seem raw and unfinished. (Trippie stated plans to later release a cleaned-up mix of the album.) On top of its sheer roughness, the album is as bloated as 2020's Pegasus, lasting 76 minutes and 25 songs. The extensive guest list includes established rappers and up-and-comers alike, including Future, Travis Scott, Lil Durk, and Nardo Wick, while "Knight Crawler" sports a posthumous Juice WRLD verse, and eccentric cult hero Lil B turns up near the end of the album, on "Swag Like Ohio, Pt. 2." MANSION MUSIK debuted at number three on the Billboard 200.
