Luciano
Patrick Grossmann (January 28, 1994), who goes by the name Luciano, is a German hip-hop performer from Berlin who records for the Universal Urban label. He is best known as a member of the rap group Loco Squad. His official solo debut Eiskalt came out in 2017 and climbed to Number 4 on the German charts propelled by the singles “Hawaii” and “Vorankommen.” Further success followed in 2018 with the album L.O.C.O., which also peaked at Number 4 and spawned the Top 10 singles “Ballin,” “MoneyGram,” “Meer,” and “Valentino Camouflage.” Following a feature on the Number 1 single “Royal Rumble” with Kalazh44, Capital Bra, and Samra, Luciano dropped his third full-length Millies in 2019. Like all of his previous releases, the album hit Number 4 in Germany and produced four 4 singles that managed to enter the German Top 10—”Ya Salame,” “La Haine,” “Yeah,” and “Fendi Drip,” featuring Ufo361 and American rapper Lil Baby. Exot, his fourth LP, saw the light in 2020 and included guest spots by YG (“Kinosaal”), Shirin David (“Never Know”), and Reezy (“Paranoia”). In 2021, Luciano teamed up with Turkish rapper and producer Lil Zey for “Elmas,” a drill-tinged track that went to Number 5 on the German Singles Chart and was included in the rapper’s fifth album, Aqua.
