For The Fallen Dreams
Lansing, Michigan's For the Fallen Dreams was founded in 2003 and features vocalist Chad Ruhlig, guitarists Jim Hocking and Jason Spencer, bassist/vocalist Joe Ellis, and drummer Andrew Tkaczyk. Taking inspiration from melodic metalcore bands such as Misery Signals, Still Remains, and It Prevails, the quintet cut their teeth with local gigging before signing a deal with Rise Records and releasing their debut full-length, Changes, in 2008. 2009's Relentless was the first to feature new vocalist Dylan Richter and the last to include founding member Andrew Tkaczyk. Back Burner arrived in 2011, followed by the band's fourth studio outing, Wasted Youth, in 2012.
