Per Margo Price invece, diventa carburante per la sua ispirazione e il trampolino di lancio verso le stelle. Dopo Midwest Farmer’s Daughter, il suo album di debutto premiato con un Qobuzissime nel 2016, la nativa di Aledo, un piccolo centro sperduto nello stato dell’Illinois, è diventata una delle voci più rispettate della musica country. Il vero country, quello senza additivi o coloranti! Ex-protetta di Jack White, che ha pubblicato per la sua etichetta Third Man Records il suo album di debutto, è stata paragonata a Loretta Lynn, Dolly Parton, Janis Joplin e Bonnie Raitt, unendosi alle fila degli outlaw 2.0 della musica country del terzo millennio, al fianco di Sturgill Simpson (che ha prodotto That’s How Rumors Get Started) e Jason Isbell e, ciliegina sulla torta, ha anche duettato con il santo patrono della musica country, Willie Nelson. Nel suo terzo album, la regina Margo non cambia nulla della sua formula, o quasi nulla.
