Nel lontano 1966 esce Revolver, settimo lavoro in studio dei Beatles, ancora prodotti da George Martin, ma soprattutto quello che viene considerato una delle pietre miliari del pop. Il progetto inaugura una vera svolta creativa per il quartetto di Liverpool, alle prese con il rock psichedelico e la filosofia orientale. Ne fanno parte brani che tutti ricordano come “Eleanor Rigby”, “Tomorrow Never Knows” e “Yellow Submarine”. Nel 2022 l’album torna sul mercato discografico in speciale versione remixata e ampliata con demo inedite, a cura di Giles Martin e Sam Okell.
