I Nickelback non sono noti per le loro intuizioni, ma la lamentosa pretesa di Chad Kroeger che "non abbiamo avuto classe, né gusto" in "Burn It to the Ground," è un pezzo di introspezione acuta e precisa. I Nickelback sono una band ruvida e volgare che si rivela nella propria ignoranza della vera nozione di gusto, eliminando i riff tira-nocche che sembrano rarefatti in confronto alle loro parole sciocche e stupide.
