Yung Stakks
Westside Chicago rapper Yung Stakks was influenced by the likes of Atlanta trap godfather Gucci Mane and fellow Chicagoans Chief Keef and Lil Durk. In 2014 he collaborated with Bo Deal on the single "Problems," while in 2015 he had a hit with his solo anthem "Stakk Money." That same year he released the In My Own Lane mixtape and joined 50 Cent on-stage to perform "Stakk Money" when the G-Unit leader's tour stopped in Chicago. The following year, he joined G Herbo on "Sell Dope & Gang Bang."
His career was put on hold in 2017 after he was shot twice; he returned to the scene the next year, building a following with freestyles posted to social media. Teaming with BigStack24, he released Camouflage in 2019. Stakkaveli arrived the next year, packaged with his G Herbo collaboration "Swing My Door." In 2021, he released the sequel set In My Own Lane 2. A joint EP with K-Star the King, Royal Money 2, landed in 2022.
