Way Yes
Based out of Columbus, Ohio, experimental pop band Way Yes began in the early part of 2010 as a collaboration between multi-instrumentalists Glenn Davis and Travis Hall. They were soon joined by Maxwell Lewis and drummer Timothy Horak, and the band cultivated a richly eclectic sample-based pop sound that drew from the blissful, trippy energy of Animal Collective, the avant experimentalism of the Books, and the solid tropical pop hooks of Vampire Weekend. They released the Herringbone EP in 2010, following the next year with both the Oranjudio 7" and Walkability EP. Tog Pebbles, their first proper album, was released in 2013.
