Tre Coast

North Carolina singer/songwriter and producer Tre Coast crafts pop tracks with a hip-hop and electronic dance sound influenced by Kanye West, Chris Brown, and Diplo. Raised by parents who were also singers at a young age, Coast began playing piano at eight and recorded his first song at 13. His first Internet upload was a cover of Justin Bieber's "All That Matters." He would go on to cover additional Bieber hits like "Cold Water," "Where Are U Now," and "What Do You Mean?" as well as his renditions of songs by Lukas Graham and Drake. The pop-rap stylings of the latter would appear on his early tracks, with Coast rapping on songs like "Your Last" and "Don't Talk to Me," which had over six million streams online. His third single, "Hit Me Up," increased the vocal focus on singing. By the time he released "Stuck in Between" in 2016, Coast centered his production on electronic sheen and tropical beats. Released via electronic producer Tep No's label in 2017, "I Can't Let You Go" continued Coast's shift from rapping into electronic pop.
