Tiacorine

Rapper TiaCorine calls on multiple regional rap languages for her hypnotic but hard style. The Winston-Salem, North Carolina-born artist builds on a decidedly Southern foundation, but she brings everything from West Coast funk undercurrents to anime sound bites into her hooky, flow-focused tracks. After issuing multiple singles independently, she signed on with South Coast Music Group for the release of albums like 2022's I Can't Wait. TiaCorine was interested in music and performance since early childhood, but released her first single in 2017, shortly after graduating from Winston-Salem State University with a degree in exercise physiology. That song, "Cabbage," made in collaboration with OG Splif, caught on around Winston-Salem and led to subsequent singles. In 2019, TiaCorine signed on with South Coast Music Group, which first released her 2020 EP 34Corine and followed it the next year with her debut studio album, The Saga of 34Corine. The album featured appearances from Kenny Beats and DaBaby, and both releases included her viral hit "Lotto." TiaCorine's second LP, I Can't Wait, appeared in 2022 and included yet another hit song, "FreakyT." In 2023, she released a remix of "FreakyT" featuring Latto, and also toured supporting Key Glock. She started 2024 with the single "Yung Joc" featuring Luh Tyler.
