Sweet California
Sweet California is a chart-topping girl group based in Madrid, Spain. Inspired by the likes of One Direction, the band was formed by singers Rocío Cabrera, Sonia Gómez, and Alba Reig. Noted for their vitality and colorful image, they hit the charts at home with their first single, "Infatuated," in the summer of 2013. Their bubbly debut album, Break of Day, was produced by Tony Sánchez-Ohlsson (Auryn, Pastora Soler) and released by Warner Music in 2014. It went to number one. Head for the Stars followed in 2015 and spent three weeks at the top of the Spanish charts.
In the meantime, Cabrera parted ways with the trio, which welcomed Tamara Nsue to the lineup. A former backing vocalist for the band, she made her debut on lead on a reworked version of Head for the Stars called Head for the Stars 2.0 in early 2016. Sweet California's third official LP, 3, arrived that December.
