Mark Tuan
Taiwanese rapper, singer/songwriter, and model Mark Tuan broke through as a member of South Korean boy group Got7 before taking on a solo career. Born in Los Angeles, he spent some time living in Paraguay and Brazil before returning to California. He took violin and piano lessons in elementary school and guitar lessons in junior high. He caught the attention of JYP Media in 2010, and they invited him to an audition; he passed but dropped out of school and moved to South Korea. After making some television cameos in 2012 on Dream High 2 and WIN: Who Is Next, he joined Got7 in 2014. He released his first EP with them, Got It?, shortly after joining. He launched a solo career in 2018 with the single "OMW." His debut album, 2022's The Other Side, was released independently through Mark Tuan Studios.
