Lee Jin Ah

Born in Gwangju, Gyeonggi-do, South Korea on March 16, 1991, Lee Jin-ah is a jazz-influenced R&B and pop singer/songwriter. She is best known as the second runner up on Season 4 of SBS’ K-Pop Star (2013-2014). She signed with the Antenna label and released her first single, “A Letter”, in 2013. In October of the same year, she issued her debut album, Unvisible, which reached Number 13 in the Gaon Album Chart. She released a series of hit singles in 2014 and 2015 including “Time Slow Down”, “My Own Way”, and “Yum Yum Yum”, all of which hit the Top 10. She was also a featured artist on the official K-pop Star 4 soundtrack. Jin-ah released the Random EP in 2017, which featured the single of the same name. Her second full length album, Jinah Restaurant Full Course, was released in 2018. The album featured the hit single “We Are”, a song that featured guest vocals from her Antenna Records labelmates Sam Kim, Kwon Jin-Ah, Jung Seung-Hwan, and Chai. On March 23, 2019, Jin-ah married South Korean pianist Shin Seong-jin.
