Keiki

Hailing from Brussels, self-described Satanic pop duo Keiki feature half-English vocalist and theremin player Dominique Van Cappellen-Waldock and half-Italian guitarist/programmer Raphael Rastelli. After forming in 2006, Keiki -- initially a trio -- began honing their distinctive mix of heavy riffs, mechanical rhythms, and quirky lyrics, and released their 2007 debut album, 10 Pieces, on the U.K.-based label Glock Music. In 2009, Cheap Satanism Records issued Keiki's second album, Waltham Holy Cross, which featured a song inspired by Andy Warhol's mother, "Andy's Candy." A split 10" with labelmates Bee and Flower followed in 2011, while the duo's third full-length, 2012's Popcorn from the Grave, found them moving in a harder-edged direction. The following year, Cheap Satanism digitally reissued 10 Pieces.
