Jamie Scott
Jamie Scott (aka J.S. Baylin) was born in February of 1982 and was a '70s-, soul-, singer/songwriter-influenced vocalist in the band Jamie Scott & the Town. Originally hoping to score a publishing deal as a songwriter, he so impressed Sony that they offered him a recording deal in 2002. The label was set to release his debut album, Searching, Pt. 1, in 2005, but it was indefinitely shelved in the fallout from the merger of Sony and BMG. 2007 finally saw a full-length release from Scott and his band, entitled Park Bench Theories.
