Hoax (BE)
Belgian-born producer and DJ Hoax (BE) makes slick, melodic house heavily rooted in classic disco, soul, and funk, as well as synth pop and techno. He began making an impact with his remixes and sample-based tracks like "Good Times" and "Ain't No Mountain," and has become a regular presence at Ibiza clubs such as Chinois and Eden. He's continued pushing his sound forward with 2023 tracks like his remix of NERVO's "Giving It All" and "Your Strings" (featuring Tania Zygar).
Hoax (BE) began releasing disco-house tracks and edits in 2019, occasionally venturing into deep techno. A string of tracks with easily recognizable vocal samples, including "Mighty Real" and "Ain't No Mountain," were officially released during the early 2020s. He also produced more synth-heavy tracks closer to progressive house, including 2022's "Vision of You." 2023 brought remixes of Max Vangeli's "Love in the Night" and NERVO's "Giving It All," as well as originals like the heavily percussive "Suavito" and the trancey "Your Strings" (featuring Tania Zygar).
