FOLLYA

Pop rock quartet Dear Jack was formed in 2012 in Rome, Italy by vocalist Alessio Bernabei, guitarist Francesco Pierozzi, and bassist Alessandro Presti. A year later, they finalized their line-up with the addition of drummer Riccardo Ruiu and second guitarist Lorenzo Cantarini. They first came to prominence in 2013 when they participated in the 13th season of televised talent show Amici di Maria De Filippi, coming in at second place in the competition. Their 2014 debut album, Domani è un altro film (prima parte), climbed to Number 1 on the albums chart and was certified double platinum in their home country. After the release of their second album, Domani è un altro film (seconda parte), in 2015, vocalist Alessio Bernabei left the group and was replaced by Leiner Riflessi. After the release of the album Mezzo respire (2016), vocalist Riflessi left the group and second guitarist Cantarini took over on lead vocals. Dear Jack released one more album, Non è un caso se… (2018) before undergoing another line-up change. In 2022, Lorenzo Cantarini departed Dear Jack, which allowed original vocalist Alessio Bernabei to return to the fold. With all four original members back together, the group changed their name to Follya and released the singles “Morto per Te” and “Tuta Spaziale.”
