Cozi Zuehlsdorff

California's Cosi Zuehlsdorff is an actress and singer known for her dance-oriented pop. Initially, she grabbed audiences starring in the 2011 Disney film Dolphin Tale before issuing her 2014 debut EP Originals. She has also been featured on electronic house tracks with Hellberg, Vicetone, Rich Edwards, and others. Born in 1998, Zuehlsdorff grew up in Orange County, California in a Christian family where she was largely homeschooled. Interested in performing at a young age, she took vocal and piano lessons. At age eight, she won the lead in a local theater production of Annie. This led to further roles, including appearing in stagings of The Wizard of Oz, Seussical the Musical, The Sound of Music, and more. In 2011, she made her feature film debut in the principle role of Hazel in the movie Dolphin Tale, appearing alongside Morgan Freeman, Harry Connick, Jr., and Ashley Judd. More film and television work followed including appearances in the Disney Channel's Liv & Maddie, Mighty Med, Dolphin Tale 2, and the TNT medical drama Monday Mornings. An avid singer, Zuehlsdorff co-wrote and recorded the song "Brave Souls" for the Dolphin Tale 2 soundtrack. Buoyed by that experience she continued to pursue her musical interests and in 2014 issued her debut EP Originals. A handful of featured tracks followed, including singing on tracks like Hellberg's "The Girl" in 2015, Vicetone's "Nevada" in 2016, and Myrne's "Confessions" in 2017. In 2019, she released her own solo single "Beat Drops."
