Best known for his music’s inclusion on the soundtrack to the acclaimed Cameron Mitchell film SHORTBUS, Scott Matthew garnered attention throughout the indie world for his gentle, melancholic compositions and quivering, otherworldly vocals. His debut eponymous full-length showcases Matthew’s enigmatic voice and tales of existential woe gently supported by a bed of tinkling piano (“Surgery”), softly plucked ukulele (“Little Bird”), vibes (“Amputee”), and muted horns (“In the End”).
