The A-sides of the "Motorbike to Heaven" and "Drink the Elixir" singles are on Drink Me, but the B-sides are too strong to skip, as "Motorbike" gives us the rumbling, stumbling "Diary Hell" and the more pleasing "I Am December," while "Elixir" is backed by the churning "Kiss My Love," the oh-so-beguiling "Julius," and a live look at "Diminished Clothes." Every one of these songs should have made the LP, great as it is, and one could argue with conviction that a tape of the ten songs from the "Your Ma" through "Motorbike" singles would make the best version of a 1995 Salad LP.
