Alors que les chansons le composant ont été introduites aux oreilles du public à travers plusieurs concerts et du contenu vidéo, les musiciens, alors libres de tout contrat avec une maison de disque, décident de lancer son bébé à l’aide d’une distribution participative inédite. La carrière solo de Thom Yorke lancée en parallèle semble avoir donné un nouvel élan aux artistes qui sont à leur apogée. Centrale, la beauté est de tous les instant dans In Rainbows : Reckoner, House Of Cards, Videotape ou encore All I Need… Alors que Nude donne l’impression d’être sortie de Kid A, Bodysnatchers ramène au rock le plus pur de Radiohead. Preuve de maturité, l’espace laissé au cœur des mélodies permet à tous les musiciens de s’exprimer librement. D’ailleurs, le rythme imposé par la guitare de Jonny Greenwood est toujours aussi jouissif.
