Alors que les deux premiers disques d'Eminem traitaient principalement de personnes et de personnages, ses deux disques parlent de ce que ces personnes ont fait, en en disséquant les conséquences plutôt que de chercher l’esclandre. Ici, Eminem a décidé d’écrire la chronique de ce qui lui est arrivé au cours des deux dernières années et réfute toutes les charges qui lui ont été imputées. Il est simple et littéral, résolu à contester toutes les critiques, de Benzino dans le magazine La Source à la marionnette Triumph the Insult Comic Dog. L’album est un peu longuet, mais son écoute vaut le détour, pour les moments qui fonctionnent vraiment bien, chansons entières ou petits bouts de phrases.
