PHiL GooD

With his sparse synth grooves and passionate vocals, indie electronic artist Phil Good built an online following in the late 2010s thanks to singles like 2017's "Growing Up" and 2018's "Be Somebody." His melodic songwriting caught the ear of Elektra Records and his popularity increased with upbeat tracks like 2020's "Everything's Good" and 2022's "Destination OK." A self-taught producer and songwriter, Good relocated from his native Portland, Oregon, to Los Angeles in 2016, releasing his debut single, "Sleeping In," that same year. A trio of singles followed in 2017, including the dark-toned "Growing Up," which became his most-streamed track to date. Good's profile increased a year later with releases like "Better," "Be Somebody," and "Put It All on Me." In 2019, he signed with Elektra Records which issued highly streamed singles like "Do You Ever?" and "Put It All on Me." Over the next year Good's popularity soared, first with the RAC collaboration "Stuck on You," and then with the breezy, uplifting solo track "Everything's Good." After 2021's stripped-down, mostly acoustic Home Sweet Home EP, he returned to his synth-driven sound on 2022's buoyant "Destination OK."
