Following the 2016 release of his Top 25 debut mixtape New English, trap rapper Desiigner issued his first EP, L.O.D., on Kanye West's GOOD Music label. Debuting in the Billboard 200, the set featured the rapid-fire, triplet flow favored by the Brooklyn MC over seven tracks that leaned into Migos and Future territory. L.O.D. also featured production by Mike Dean (2 Chainz, Travis Scott), Ronny J (Denzel Curry, Smokepurpp), and Sean Garrett (Usher, Beyonce) on tracks like "After Party" and "Priice Tag."
