With LIVE WORSHIP: BLESSED BE THY NAME, Grammy winner Rebecca St. James presents one of her heralded concerts. Based mainly on her previous release, WORSHIP GOD, this disc is filled with familiar songs such as the Cranberries-esque "Quiet You with My Love," the upbeat "Let My Words Be Few," and the beautiful a cappella rendition of "Here I Am to Worship." Also included is a brand new studio song, "The Power of Your Love" (which St. James brings to life in her signature pop/rock form, with a sound reminiscent of her PRAY album). Throughout the live performance, St. James constantly encourages her audience so sing along with her and is obviously moved by the message she's sending. On this set of mostly self-written songs, St. James shows that she's a force to be reckoned with in the growing movement of Christian alternative music, and she's given a gift to her ever-widening fan base.
