Huitième opus studio de l'auteur-compositeur-interprète français Gérald De Palmas, La Beauté du geste voit le jour en 2016, porté par le single "Il faut qu'on s'batte". Proposant dix nouvelles compositions, l'album propose des sonorités variées et des saveurs synthétiques ("Le Jour de nos fiançailles", "'T'es belle à en crever") souvent enlevées qui tendent à contraster avec des textes volontiers amers constituant le fil conducteur d'un disque enregistré dans des conditions les plus proches possibles du live. Fort d'un public fidèle, De Palmas classe son nouvel effort en 3ème position des charts français dès sa sortie.
