En 1996 était publié She’s the One, neuvième album de Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers et surtout la bande originale du film, traduit en français sous le titre Petits mensonges entre frères. À l’approche du 25e anniversaire de l’album, une nouvelle édition intitulée Angel Dream voit le jour. Remixée, remasterisée, et redessinée, elle offre une nouvelle lecture de l’œuvre de Tom Petty à la faveur notamment des quatre titres inédits qui sont injectés au programme : le jovial « 105 Degrees », l’impeccable « Thirteen Days » (une reprise de J.J. Cale), le lascif « One of Life’s Little Mysteries » et le magistral titre acoustique instrumental « French Disconnection ». Une version allongée de « Supernatural Radio », dépassant les six minutes, offre quant à elle une quarantaine de secondes par rapport à la piste originale. Destiné aux fans acharnés de Tom Petty, Angel Dream donne une nouvelle occasion d’entendre une voix trop tôt disparue.
