Après un premier disque ayant raflé la mise, Ben l’Oncle Soul a pris du temps et pas mal de recul pour cogiter et préparer la suite de sa carrière. Baptisé A coup de rêves, ce deuxième album qui parait chez Motown France est surtout la rencontre avec un jeune groupe de San Francisco baptisé les Monophonics, eux aussi grands fanatiques de la soul vintage à la Otis Redding.
