Bonnie Raitt
Apparue sur la scène locale de Cambridge (Massachusetts), la chanteuse et guitariste américaine Bonnie Raitt (née en 1949 en Californie) impose discrètement son mélange de blues, de folk et de rock au fil d'une première vingtaine d'années de carrière pourtant émaillée par quelques albums marquants, à commencer par ses trois premiers parus entre 1971 et 1973. Ce n'est qu'en 1989 avec l'opus Nick of Time porté par son morceau titre, que le grand public se penche sur ses travaux, réservant un accueil chaleureux à son successeur, Luck of the Draw, en 1991.
