RootaBang
Cleveland rapper Rootabang writes sharp, exuberant trap songs that typically revolve around the central theme of money, including his 2018 breakout hit, "Money Long."
Tavio Jack first started making rap music as Young Roota, debuting in 2012 with the song "Wah." His career was put on hold for a few years as he served a prison sentence, but as soon as he got out of jail, he linked up with longtime friend Preme Dibiasi and began making tracks. In 2017, Rootabang and Dibiasi released the single "Get the Money" and mixtape #OT6. One of the tape's tracks, "Money Long," became a viral hit throughout the Midwest, and the duo signed to Roc Nation, which released the song as a single.
