Quizá es una suerte que Camp Rock 2 lleve como subtítulo “The Final Jam,” porque todos los que participaron en esta secuela de 2010 del favorito del Canal Disney empiezan a verse algo creciditos para estas travesuras veraniegas. Ciertamente los Jonas Brothers tienen ya demasiado éxito para andar cantando este tipo de pro-forma bubblegum, pero incluso Demi Lovato se ve atada de pies y manos por una serie de canciones compuestas para un proyecto que suena a obligación contractual. La notable excepción a la regla es Matthew “Mdot” Finley, un empresario quiero y no puedo de R&B que abarrota la banda sonora con su canturreo a lo Chris Brown pero sin la misma talla y sus replicas digitales de sintetizadores analógicos, sin llegar a lograr crear un carácter en toda esta conmoción. Es bubblegum tan rancio, pasteloso y soso como antaño.
