Samir & Viktor

The Swedish electro pop duo Samir & Viktor was formed in 2014 by reality TV contestant Samir Badran and Viktor Frisk, a popular fashion blogger.

The duo's debut release was the single 'Success' which immediately went to number one on the Swedish iTunes chart and reached number three on the Swedish national chart. After the success of the single Badran and Frisk had a successful run of four more singles with all but one reaching the top three. It was impressive start to their music business career and all five of the singles were certified platinum with the most successful recording being their 2016 track 'Bada Nakna' which went to the top of the charts and was certified 4x platinum in the process.

The duo have now become an established part of the Swedish pop scene, although a brief hiatus in 2016 to pursue solo projects had fans wondering if they would make a return however they made their comeback in 2017. Their 2019 release 'Odödlig' reached number 20 on the Swedish charts.
