Dans son nouvel album, le ténor Ian Bostridge rend hommage à trois célèbres ténors officiant en Angleterre au XVIIIe siècle, John Beard (1717-1791), Francesco Borosini (1690-1747), Annibale Fabri (1697-1760). Le grand héros de cet album demeure la musique de Haendel, qui composa des airs magnifiques pour cette tessiture (Haendel), où la voix de Bostridge s'épanouit.
