Johann Sebastian Bach semble s’être toujours intéressé à la musique de chambre : fils de musicien et père d’une famille nombreuse, la pratique familiale prenait une place importante dans la vie quotidienne. On sait qu'il a composé un certain nombre d'œuvres en vue de pratiquer à la maison, pour certaines aujourd’hui dispersées, et les recherches pour tenter de les localiser ont mis en lumière de nombreuses compositions incertaines, parfois difficiles à authentifier. Gottfried von der Goltz réunit ici certaines de ces pièces atypiques et plus méconnues, comme les sonates pour violon et continuo BWV 1021, BWV 1023, BWV 1024 et la Fugue BWV 1026. L'enregistrement comprend également la Sonate en la majeur longtemps attribuée à Bach, mais depuis rattachée à la production de Telemann, ainsi qu'une Sonate en do mineur d'un Anonyme, datant des années 1720. © Aparté
