Sero el Mero

Sero El Mero is a German rapper from the city of Bremerhaven. Born in the Schöneberg district of Berlin in 1992 to a German mother and a Tunisian father, Sero struggled to come to terms with his dual identity, becoming involved in drugs and graffiti at an early age. After high school he enrolled in several courses including psychology, directing and industrial engineering, but did not complete any of them, instead developing his freestyle rap skills as part of the El Mero crew in Bremerhaven. Showcasing these skills in mobile phone videos uploaded to Facebook and Instagram, Sero quickly gained hundreds of thousands of views. Creating a three-track demo, Sero signed with Four Music to release the single 'Holy' in 2016.

His debut album 'The One and Only' arrived in 2017, followed by the EPs 'Sweet-Tape' and 'Raw-Tape' in 2018. That year he also released the singles 'Meros Überall', 'Schnelles Geld' and 'GreenYardz Connections'. The tracks and their accompanying videos quickly gained millions of online views and streams. In 2019, Sero El Mero released the single 'Ohne Sinn' from his upcoming second album 'BabyFaceFlow', due for release in August 2019.
