Marc Seberg
Marc Seberg was a French new wave band formed by vocalist and songwriter Philippe Pascal from the ashes of the cult Rennes band Marquis de Sade with members of two other bands, Privite Joke, and Complot Bronswick making up the other members. The band lasted from its formation in 1983 until its dissolution in 1991, producing four studio LPs, one live LP and one EP in that time. All of the studio albums, originally recorded on Virgin Records, were remastered and re-released in 2017 by Warner Bros. Marc Seberg drew on a host of influences from the New York experimentalists of the 1960s, to the English post-punk bands of the late 1970s and '80s.
Philippe Pascal died on September 12th 2019, putting paid to any chance of a reunion.
