Released some eight years after the performance, Damian "Junior Gong" Marley's Bonnaroo Live '06 captures the reggae singer in fine form while performing at the annual music festival. High-kicking versions of "Move," "Confrontation," and his signature hit, "Welcome to Jamrock," make the set worthwhile, while versions of his father's "Jammin'" and Punky Reggae Party" make it all the better, with the epic "Bob Marley Medley" making it, arguably, vital for fans. The arguable bit comes from the flat recording, which lacks punch and sounds like it came off a video mix, but warm up the bass and widen the treble and this live album satisfies.
