Enrico Nigiotti

Enrico Nigiotti is an Italian singer-songwriter known in part for his multiple forays into TV talent shows. Born in 1987, he got started with his music career when he was signed by Sugar Music and released his debut single, 'Addio'. Things moved up a gear, however, when between 2009 and 2010 he was a contestant in the Italian talent show 'Amici di Maria De Filippi' but opted to leave ahead of an elimination round to avoid competing against then-girlfriend Elena D'Amario.

When he released his self-titled EP in March the same year it entered the FIMI Italian Albums Chart, peaking at number 44. Nigiotti's full-length debut followed in 2015 but failed to follow the EP into the charts.

2017 saw Nigiotti return to the world of TV talent shows when he successfully auditioned for the eleventh series of the Italian version of 'The X Factor'. He fared well, making it to the finals and placing third overall. His subsequent single, 'L'amore è', peaked at number four on the FIMI Singles Chart and led the EP of the same name. The following year Nigiotti released the album 'Cenerentola' and peaked at number 15 on the Italian Albums Chart and in 2020 he released 'Nigio'.
