Following her 2013 debut, Light Up the Dark is the second record from U.K.-based singer/songwriter Gabrielle Aplin. Writing with longtime collaborator Luke Potashnick, Aplin has cited Feist’s The Reminder and Joni Mitchell as significant influences on the album, which leads off with the title track single.
