Konstantinos Argiros

Since his debut in 2008, Greek singer Konstantinos Argiros (May 21, 1986) went on to become one of the most successful and celebrated artists in the Hellenic pop world. Throughout his career, he has been the recipient of 6 Greek Music Awards and 6 Cypriot Music Awards. Born in Lefkada but raised in Athens, he began his music education at the age of 5, studying piano, solfeggio, and harmony. During his teenage years, Konstantinos Argiros was the lead singer in a band called Blue Brothers. In 2004, he was admitted to college to study nursing but decided to quit shortly after participating in the third season of music reality show Fame Story. He then became a staple of Athen’s vibrant nightlife scene, singing with Anna Vissi at the Votanikos nightclub in 2005. After cutting his teeth as a professional singer in the club circuit and touring internationally, Konstantinos Argiros released his debut EP Ola Tha Allaxoun in 2008, followed by his first full-length, 2011’s Mallon Kati Xero. The LP was the first one in a series of platinum-selling albums that continued with Paidi Gennaio (2012), Defteri Fora (2014), Osa Niotho (2016), and To Kati Parapano (2018), which also reached the top of the Greek charts thanks to the Number 1 hit singles “Ximeromata,” “Psemata,” “Lioma,” and “Ti Na To Kano.” Subsequently, Konstantinos Argiros remained at the forefront of the Greek pop scene with the singles “Athina Mou” (2020), “Tha ‘Mai Edo” (2020), and “Paraskevi Proi” (2021), a romantic pop tune with traditional instrumentation that peaked at Number 3 on the Greek Singles Chart.
