Flaco Jimenez once again shows off his classic Texas style in Sleepytown. His rollicking band is a great backup for his catchy songs that feature performances from great musicians like Dwight Yoakam, Doug Sahm, and Buck Owens. The latter is featured on a cover of the Beatles' "Love Me Do," which is only one of this album's gems. Steeped in fun throughout, this album will remind fans why they love Jimenez.
