Après avoir fêté dix ans de carrière en 2021 avec Dix ans déjà, le ténor français Vincent Niclo revient en 2023 avec Opéra celte, neuvième opus studio succédant dans l'exercice à son Esperanto de 2020 l'ayant vu évoluer aux côtés de séminaristes russes orthodoxes et tout entier tourné vers les sonorités celtes, accompagné pour l'occasion par le Bagad Kemper. L'occasion de découvrir ses versions de l'inusable "Tri martolod" popularisé par Alan Stivell ou le traditionnel "Greensleeves" ainsi que ses collaborations avec Dan Ar Braz ("Borders of Salt"), Soldat Louis ("Fils de Lorient"), ou encore Manau sur leur hit de 1998 "La Tribu de Dana". Fort de la popularité de son interprète, Opéra se hisse en troisième position des charts hexagonaux.
