La genèse de ce concert au parc de Sceaux est symptomatique du volontarisme de Johnny Hallyday, mais aussi de son incroyable popularité. Un concert gratuit du Taulier était prévu le 10 juin 2000 sur le Champ-de-Mars. Johnny a alors fait remarquer à son producteur Jean-Claude Camus que cinq jours après, c’était son anniversaire, et qu’il souhaitait également chanter à cette occasion. Le chanteur a tellement insisté que Camus a fini par accepter cette idée, après l’avoir prévenu que c’était sans doute un pari risqué. Résultat des courses : les deux concerts font le plein, avec 400 000 personnes pour le premier live et 60 000 billets vendus pour celui du parc de Sceaux le 15 juin 2000.


Pour fêter ses 60 ans, Johnny a mis les petits plats dans les grands. Outre le toujours efficace Yvan Cassar à la direction artistique, l’interprète de Ma Gueule s’est entouré d’une brochette d’invités triés sur le volet. On retiendra la tendresse de son duo avec Michel Sardou dans Quelque chose de Tennessee, l’énergie de Fils de personne avec Jean-Louis Aubert, la drôlerie de Gabrielle face à son « double », l’imitateur Laurent Gerra. Citons également le lyrisme de Derrière l’amour avec Patrick Bruel et le mélancolique Chanteur abandonné avec Pascal Obispo. Certes, le concert est grandiose, mais l’occasion particulière fait qu’une certaine intimité se dégage de cette performance, comme l’atteste le Happy Birthday entonné par les musiciens, ainsi qu’une reprise poignante de Non, je ne regrette rien. Chronique

La genèse de ce concert au parc de Sceaux est symptomatique du volontarisme de Johnny Hallyday, mais aussi de son incroyable popularité. Un concert gratuit du Taulier était prévu le 10 juin 2000 sur le Champ-de-Mars. Johnny a alors fait remarquer à son producteur Jean-Claude Camus que cinq jours après, c’était son anniversaire, et qu’il souhaitait également chanter à cette occasion. Le chanteur a tellement insisté que Camus a fini par accepter cette idée, après l’avoir prévenu que c’était sans doute un pari risqué. Résultat des courses : les deux concerts font le plein, avec 400 000 personnes pour le premier live et 60 000 billets vendus pour celui du parc de Sceaux le 15 juin 2000.


Pour fêter ses 60 ans, Johnny a mis les petits plats dans les grands. Outre le toujours efficace Yvan Cassar à la direction artistique, l’interprète de Ma Gueule s’est entouré d’une brochette d’invités triés sur le volet. On retiendra la tendresse de son duo avec Michel Sardou dans Quelque chose de Tennessee, l’énergie de Fils de personne avec Jean-Louis Aubert, la drôlerie de Gabrielle face à son « double », l’imitateur Laurent Gerra. Citons également le lyrisme de Derrière l’amour avec Patrick Bruel et le mélancolique Chanteur abandonné avec Pascal Obispo. Certes, le concert est grandiose, mais l’occasion particulière fait qu’une certaine intimité se dégage de cette performance, comme l’atteste le Happy Birthday entonné par les musiciens, ainsi qu’une reprise poignante de Non, je ne regrette rien.
