Mi piace il sample di hi hat presente tutto il tempo e che rende le battute di tambourine ancora più succose.

Per il suo essere gioioso e tragico. Questo brano mi fa pensare a film di Mike Leigh, come Meantime.

La prima canzone di Russel che ho sentito, è ancora la mia preferita. Da allora è sempre un'influenza.
Capitol K - Island Is Ransacked -
Adoro il loop e i fiati. Il disco s'intitola Goatherder e questo mi fa sempre pensare agli zoccoli di capra. La canzone finisce male per le capre.

Un pianoforte dal bel suono, suonato molto bene. Questo disco ha tanta pazienza.

Questo brano proviene da un bellissimo disco. Ricordo che andai a vedere Gold suonare dal vivo da qualche parte a Ladbroke Grove, e guardandolo immaginavo le mie canzoni che venivano suonate live.
Flaming Lips - Always there in our hearts -
Molto più duro e minaccioso della musica che abbiamo cercato di costruire... ma è comunque un'influenza.
David Crosby - I'd swear there was someone here -
Il titolo da solo è rilevante per i temi del disco. Ci sono canzoni che non ho messo nell'album che sono state influenzate dal suono di questa voce. Ma anche le canzoni che non ho scelto hanno giocato tutte il loro ruolo nel dare forma all'album.
